Country Style Steak With Rice & Gravy

This is a stick to your ribs kind of dish, but worth it!

Ingredients

lb Beef Cube Steak
2
tbs vegetable oil
2
cups of water
1/2
cup all-purpose flour for coating
1
tbs all-purpose flour
salt and pepper
Directions
1.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and coat cube steak pieces with flour, and shake off the excess. Fry steak pieces in the hot oil just until browned on each side and there are some juices in the pan. Remove steaks and set aside.

Stir in 1 tablespoon of flour; sprinkle into the skillet. Cook and stir over medium heat until it starts to brown. Gradually mix in the water to make a gravy, continuously stirring. Return the cube steak to the pan. Cover, and simmer over med-low heat for 15-20 min, then flip steaks over and recover for 15-20 min.

Serve steaks with gravy smothered over white or brown rice
