Apple Pie

Classic and simple apple pie. This recipe can be made in advance and freeze. Just take the frozen pie out the night before and thaw in the fridge-it will bake just the same!

Ingredients

ea. 9-in. store bought apple crust
8
ea. Granny smith apple, peeled, cored and sliced into 1/8 in. pieces
1
ea. Lemon, juiced
1
/2 c. White sugar
1
/2 c. Brown sugar
3
tbsp All-purpose flour
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Toss apples with lemon juice, and sugar.

Mound apple mixture into pie crust.
3.
Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.
4.
Let pie cool for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
