When we lived in Philly Mom used to get together with Helene and make blintzes from scratch. I can remember the assembly line they made & the laughter that always came from the kitchen.
mix ingredients to make blintzes (they are like crepes). Fry in a medium fry pan. Put filling on crepe about 3 tsp. Fold blintz like an egg roll. Fry in butter/margarine in fry pan on all sides until brown.
