Scones for a Saturday morning!

Ingredients

cup flour

tsp baking powder
1 1/2
tsp salt
3/4
cup sugar
3
cup half & half
1 1/2
cup of dried fruit of your choice
Directions
1.
Combine all ingredients and mix
2.
Add fruit
3.
Stir in cream, start with 3 cups and slowly add more until it's a doughy texture
4.
(USE A WOODEN SPOON TO MIX)
5.
Pour dough onto counter, split into 3 or 4 piles, knead 10 times
6.
Shape into flat circles and brush with melted butter
7.
Sprinkle with granulated sugar and cut into wedges
8.
Place on greased cook sheet and bake at 435 degrees for 12-15 minutes
