Slap Yo Mama Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

This pie is so good you could slap yo mama and get away with it. It's a staple at all of our holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

tbs butter, melted
3
eggs, beaten
3/4
cup brown sugar

tbs flour
1
tsp vanilla extract
3/4
cup dark corn syrup
3
tbs bourbon liquor
1 1/2
cup pecan halves
1/2
cup mini semi sweet chocolate morsels (use a good brand)
1
(9-inch) unbaked pie shell (refrigerated aisle)
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2.
Melt butter in a small saucepan or in microwave.
3.
While butter is melting, add beaten eggs to a medium sized bowl.
4.
Stir in brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract, corn syrup and bourbon until combined.
5.
Add butter when just melted.
6.
Mix in the pecans and chocolate morsels. Mix all together.
7.
Pour mixture into pie shell.
8.
Place on a sheet tray and bake for 50 to 60 minutes (check bottom to ensure golden)
