Traditional Apple Walnut Charoset

Charoset, for anyone who doesn't know is a traditional (hence the title) Passover food. Feel free to change the amount of each ingredient to your liking.

Ingredients

medium gala or fuji apples
1 1/2
cups toasted walnuts, coarsely chopped
1/2
cup sweet red wine
1 1/2
tsp ground cinnamon
1
tbsp packed brown sugar
Directions
1.
Peel and core apples. Dice either by hand or by food processor.
2.
Add all ingredients. Mix either by hand or with a food processor (if using a food processor, be careful not to over-process).
3.
This recipe makes about 4 cups, which you can divide to your liking, so the serving number is only a suggestion.
