Chili

A classic, perfect for the big football game or just to warm up a chilly day

Ingredients
2
lb cooked hamburger
2
large (28 oz) cans tomato sauce
1
can (15 oz) of diced tomatoes
1
onion chopped
1
green pepper chopped
2
tsp salt
2
tsp chili powder
1/4
tsp paprika
1
can black beans (or kidney beans
1
//4 tsp cayenne pepper
1
cup water
Directions
1.
Microwave onions and green peppers in a bowl with water for 5 minutes on power level 5 (half power), drain water
2.
Mix meat, onion, peppers, and all seasonings together in a large pot, stir and heat
3.
Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and water. Heat and stir until boiling (large bubbles should appear)
4.
Turn down heat to low and simmer for 1 hour
5.
Add beans and cook for 10 minutes longer
6.
Serve with shredded cheddar cheese on top, yum!
