Crab Cakes

Meaty crab cake recipe that can be entree or appetizer size.

Ingredients
1
lb fresh lump crab meat
2
eggs, beaten
1
tbs flour
1/2
cup fresh breadcrumbs
1
tsp dill chopped
1
tsp parsley chopped
3
-4 scallions, sliced thin
2
shallots, sliced thin
2
-4 t butter, unsalted
Directions
1.
Mix crab meat, eggs, breadcrumbs, flour, parsley, dill and scallions gently using your hands. Add some breadcrumbs if too wet. Form into size patties desired. Saute shallots in butter, add crab cakes and cook 3-5 minutes per side until golden brown and heated through.

Serve with sliced lemons or limes.
