Caramel Bread Pudding

The classic English dessert with a sweet twist of caramel! It tastes like french toast for dessert and is always a crowd pleaser. Best served warm.

Ingredients
6
slices bread, day-old, cut into cubes (about 7 cups)
1
cup water, hot
1
cup brown sugar
4
eggs, lightly beaten
2
cup milk, warm
1
?2 cup sugar
1
?2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1
?2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
Directions
1.
Place bread in greased 13x9 baking dish.
2.
Combine water and brown sugar; pour over bread.
3.
Combine remaining ingredients; pour over bread.
4.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes or until knife inserted in centre comes out clean.
5.
Serve warm or cold, I prefer warm.
