Chocolate Strawberry Tart

Let me just start off by saying that when I made this for my wife last Valentine she was blown away by how beautiful the tart looked. Now, she asks me to this tart for all occasions.

Ingredients

ea. 9-in. Pie crust, baked and cooled
1
cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
2
tbsp Butter or margarine
1
/4 c. Powdered sugar
3
tbsp Water

pkg. Cream cheese, softened (8 oz.)
1 1/2-2
pt Whole strawberries, sliced
Glaze
3
tbsp Red currant jelly
2
tsp Water
Chocolate for drizzling
1
cup Semi-sweet chocolate, or whatever you have
Directions
1.
In 2-quart saucepan, melt chocolate chips and butter over low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in powdered sugar, 3 tablespoons kirsch and the cream cheese until well blended. Pour into pie shell. Arrange strawberries over chocolate mixture.
2.
In 1-quart saucepan, heat glaze ingredients until warm; spoon or brush over strawberries. Refrigerate at least 2 hours until serving time. Cover and refrigerate any remaining pie.
3.
Melt additional chocolate chip and drizzle on top of tart when cooled. If you have extra pie crust, bake some off and decorate pie.
