Grandma Whitney's Cheese Spaghetti

Ingredients

oz spaghetti
1
tbs butter
1
tbs flour
1 1/4
cup milk
3
cup grated cheddar (roughly a 12 ounce brick)
Directions
1.
Cook spaghetti for shortest amount of time indicated on box. While cooking:

Melt the butter in a medium-sized frying pan over medium heat.
3.
When the butter is melted and a little bubbly, add the flour, stirring until it is smooth and bubbly.
4.
Slowly add the milk and keep stirring until the mixture thickens and bubbles just a little.
5.
Turn the heat to low and stir in 2 cups of the grated cheese.
6.
Drain the spaghetti in a colander and dump into a 9x12 baking dish.
7.
Pour the cheese sauce over the spaghetti, mushing it around until all of the pasta is covered.
8.
Sprinkle a cup of grated cheddar evenly over the top.
9.
Bake at 350 degrees, until bubbly around edges.
10.
Broil at end (watch carefully) to brown the top.
11.
If baking immediately, bake for 30 minutes.
12.
If baking after refrigerated, bake for 45 minutes.
13.
If baking after frozen, cover and bake for 60 minutes.
