Ellen's Green Bean Bundles

Ellen made this for Thanksgiving one year and they were a hit. Green beans can get boring but this is worth the effort!

Ingredients
1
16 oz. pkg. bacon (regular slice-not thick)

10 oz. pkg. fresh green beans
3/4
cup packed brown sugar
1/2
cup butter/margarine
1
tsp garlic powder
1/2
tsp black pepper
1
tsp worcestershire sauce
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2.
Cut each strip of bacon in half crosswise.
3.
Put 5 to 7 whole beans on one end of bacon slice and roll/wrap bacon around the beans
4.
Place bundle in baking dish seam side down
5.
Repeat with remaining beans and bacon
6.
In sauce pan mix brown sugar and butter over medium heat
7.
Once butter melts stir in remaining ingredients
8.
Pour over the bundles, cover, and bake 30 minutes
9.
Uncover and bake until bacon cooks through; about 15 minutes
10.
I broil the bacon for 1-2 minutes to crisp the bacon
