Apricot Bbq Wings

A great freezer friendly dish with a tangy bite!

Ingredients
Sauce:

18oz bottle bbq sauce (or approx 2 cups homemade)
1
CUP apricot preserves
1
TSP ginger powder
1
TBS garlic powder
2
TBS Worcestershire sauce
in a medium bowl, combine all and remove 1/2 cup of the sauce and refrigerate
Gallon Bag 1

LBS chicken wing drumettes (can be fresh or already frozen)

Directions

Defrost a few hours, then on cooking day:

Place all contents of bag #1 in slow cooker. Cook on low 5-6 hours, high 2-3.

When it’s done, set your oven to broil. Line a baking sheet with foil and remove the wings to the baking sheet. Brush with leftover sauce and broil 2 minutes.
4.
Flip the wings, brush them again with sauce and broil 3-5 minutes until crispy and gooey. Serve with a salad and homemade potato wedges.
