Thai Style Steak Kebobs With Scallion Sesame Sauce

Great for a barbecue or a Thai inspired dinner!

Ingredients
1
cup coconut milk
1
cup Thai fish sauce, divided
2
tbl palm sugar
2
tbl fresh lime juice
8
garlic cloves, peeled and smashed

in piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut into a few chunks
2
lb beef steak, such as rib eye or tri-tip
3
bunch green onions, thinly sliced and chopped
1/3
cup roasted sesame oil
3
tbl rice vinegar
3
tbl sesame seeds, lightly toasted
1
tbl minced fresh lemon balm or cilantro
Directions
1.
In a blender combine first 5 ingredients and blend until smooth. Set aside.
2.
Cut steak into 1 1/2 inch cubes. Transfer to a bowl or bag and pour marinade over the top. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.
3.
While meat is marinading, whisk together remaining ingredients and set aside.
4.
Thread meat onto skewers and grill until done.
5.
Serve steak with scallion sesame sauce.
