Bruschetta Toasts

Seasoned toasts with tomato bruschetta layered on top

Ingredients
Toasts

loaf Ciabatta or Brick Oven Bread (sliced thin)
1/2
cup Olive Oil
1
tsp Basil
1
tsp Oregano
1/2
tsp Garlic Powder
Tomato Bruschetta
6
Plum Tomatoes Diced
2
cloves Crushed Garlic
2
Scallions Thinly Sliced
10-15
Fresh Basil Leaves
1/3
cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1
tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
1/2
tsp Sugar
Directions
1.
Add basil, oregano and garlic powder to olive oil and mix well.
2.
Brush herb olive oil onto one side of each bread slice.
3.
Toast bread until golden.
4.
Dice the tomatoes.
5.
Crush garlic and slice the scallions thinly.
6.
Chop the basil.
7.
Add everything together and pour the olive oil over the mixture.
8.
Put the bruschetta into a bowl and place on a platter with the toasts.
