Chop the onion into tiny pieces and lightly fry in a medium sized pan on a low light.

Once the onions are soft remove from pan and set aside.

Cook the mince meat until the beef has browned.

Stir in the spices, the cooked onion and a drop of water and cook for 5 minutes.

Just before serving (not before) put the hummus on a serving platter spreading it out with the back of a tablespoon. Top the hummus with the meat, drizzle over a tablespoon of olive oil and a handful of chopped parsley.
