Hummus And Mince Meat

This is a yummy and easy starter for Shabbat. It takes barely anytime at all to make and goes down a treat.

Ingredients

tub hummus
1
onion
1
kilo mince meat
3
tspns sweet paprika
1
tspn spiy paprika
2
tspn cumin
handful of fresh parsley
olive oil
Directions
1.
Chop the onion into tiny pieces and lightly fry in a medium sized pan on a low light.
2.
Once the onions are soft remove from pan and set aside.
3.
Cook the mince meat until the beef has browned.
4.
Stir in the spices, the cooked onion and a drop of water and cook for 5 minutes.
5.
Just before serving (not before) put the hummus on a serving platter spreading it out with the back of a tablespoon. Top the hummus with the meat, drizzle over a tablespoon of olive oil and a handful of chopped parsley.
6.
Serve with pitta or challah.
