Louis' (& Arline Shapiro's) Kugel

My Dad borrowed this recipe from a friend at his Temple. A caveat: I prefer a less sweet Kugel. Maybe the sequel will further detail a non-Fleishig Kugel or follow the alternate recipe note

Ingredients

lb Broad Egg Noodles
1/4
lb Butter
1
lb Cottage Cheese
4
Eggs
3/4
cup Sour Cream
3/4
tsp Salt
1/4
cup Sugar
1/4
tsp Cinnamon
Topping:
1/3
cup Corn Flakes
1/4
tsp Cinnamon
2
tbls Sugar
ALTERNATE - Meat Kugel:
1/2
lb Grilled, diced Liver. Remove all dairy & sweet ingredients & topping from above; go with 6 Eggs; 2 tbls Schmaltz. The next issue of this cookbook may further detail a meat (not this Fleishig) Kugel

tsp Pepper (or more)
Directions
1.
Boil Noodles for about 8 minutes; Drain; Rinse
2.
Add Butter, mix, add cheese , mix
3.
Add Eggs (one at a time), mix
4.
Add remaining ingredients, mix
5.
Put in buttered 13x9 dish
6.
Crush corn flakes other toppings and spread
7.
Cook at 350 degrees for at least an hour
