Buttercream Icing

Ingredients

stick Crisco (1 cup)
2
stick Butter (1 cup)

-4 tsp. vanilla extract
2
lb powdered sugar
milk
Directions
1.
Cream the Crisco and butter together. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar. I add the vanilla about half-way through this. As you start to get to the end of the powdered sugar, add a tablespoon at a time of milk to make it the consistency you want. Shouldn't need more than 3-4. If you want chocolate, add 1 1/2 cups cocoa powder (you might have to add a little more milk because of the additional dry ingredients).

This makes enough to frost a couple of sheet cakes or regular cakes or about 4 dozen cupcakes
