Chamorro Bbq Short Ribs

Much like the South, every Chamorro family has their secret family recipe. Thanks to Guam native Reuben Olivas, we've found a perfect template to a Chamorro classic. Source: The Guam Guide

Ingredients
1
cup of Kikkoman Soy Sauce
1
cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2
to 1 onion sliced very thin
6
cloves of garlic minced
black pepper to taste
2
lbs beef short ribs
Directions
1.
Mix the ingredients either by hand or in a blender.
2.
Pour the marinade over your ribs in a container and coat ribs well.
3.
Place the covered container in the refrigerator or cooler for at least 2 hours or over night.
4.
BBQ or grill making sure to, as some say, mop the marinade on the ribs to keep them moist.
5.
Because these ribs are thin, they will not take long to cook. These are juicy and delicious right off the grill.
