Leftover Leg Lemon Soup

Light and lemony soup from your leftover turkey. Great for the day after eating a filling holiday meal

Ingredients
leftover turkey legs and or parts
6
cups water
1
whole lemon cut into slices...keep the ends
1
cup chopped onion
1
cup chopped brussel sprouts
1
cup chopped mushrooms
2
tbs tumeric
2
tbs black pepper
1
tsp cayenne pepper
1
cup heavy cream
salt to taste
Directions
1.
Cover your turkey parts with water add onions, lemon ends and brussel sprouts salt and pepper. Bring to boil, then simmer for 30 minutes. Remove turkey parts and let cool. Pull meat from bones and add back to soup. Discard bones. Add chopped mushrooms tumeric and cayenne. Salt and pepper to taste. Just prior to serving add heavy cream. Dish into bowls and garnish with lemon slice.
