Ingredients

gms minced beef

onions chopped
i slice of bread

cup milk

tbsp curry powder
1
tbsp turmeric

tbsp fruit chutney ( I use Mrs Balls

tbsp lemon juice
1/2
cup sultanas
2
eggs
1
apple peeled and chopped
1
tbsp soft brown sugar
2
tsp salt
1/2
tsp pepper

1/2
cup milk
4
bay leaves
1
egg
Directions
1.
Fry the onions in a little oil till soft, add the chopped apple and fry till soft. Add the curry powder and turmeric.
2.
Soak the bread in the milk in a bowl till soft , take out and make into crumbs.
3.
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl plus the milk but only using one of the eggs. Mix thoroughly

I use my hands !!!!!)

Put mixture into a greased dish
6.
Bake approx 1 1/2 hours 160o C circotherm
7.
Half way through cooking mix the egg with 1/2 cup of milk and pour over the top and stick in the bay leaves.
8.
Finish cooking
