Baked Ziti

Evaluation: The recipe was very tasty and yummy overall. The cheese was soft and gooey. The sauce was creamy and tasted pleasant. The pasta was soft and easy to eat. Adjustment or Variations: Add in seasoning. Make sure to top with extra cheese!

pound ziti pasta

ounces ricotta cheese

cup milk

ounces mozzarella cheese (grated)

ounces pasta sauce
1/4
teaspoon sweet basil
1/4
teaspoon garlic powder
1/4
teaspoon Italian seasoning
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Prepare pasta as stated on the package. In a medium mixing bowl combine

ricotta cheese, milk, seasoning, and stir. The consistency should be like pancake batter or slightly thicker. After the pasta is cooked add it to the ricotta cheese mixture and stir.

Coat the bottom of an 8 X 12-inch baking dish with 3 to 4 oz. of the pasta sauce. Add the pasta and ricotta cheese mixture. Cover with the grated mozzarella cheese. Cover with remaining sauce.
5.
Bake for 30 minutes or until bubbly and warm. Cover with foil if the top is drying out or cooking too quickly. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
