Stove Top Macaroni And Cheese

This recipe was simple but really tasty and filling! It was fun to make this classic recipe from scratch for the first time ever. I suggest adding vegetables such as broccoli to make the recipe more flavorful and healthier. Adding more cheese could add to the flavor as well.

Ingredients
1/2
pound pasta (rotini or elbows)

tablespoons butter

eggs
6
ounces evaporated milk
1/2
teaspoon hot sauce
1/2
teaspoon kosher salt
dash black pepper
1/2
teaspoon dry mustard
8
ounces (1 cup) sharp cheddar cheese shredded ( or more to your own taste)
Directions
1.
In a large pot of boiling salted water cook the pasta according to the package directions

to all dente and drain.
3.
Return to pot and melt in the buter. toss to coat.
4.
Whisk together the egs, milk, hot sauce, salt, pepper and mustard. Stir into the pasta.
5.
add the chese. Over very low heat continue to stir for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
