Salmon & Asparagus

Matt and Amy don't cook a lot, but every winter they are motivated to cook more! This is one of the recipes they've perfected together in their home over various Sunday nights. They often interchange the asparagus with brussels sprouts. The dish is now a Matt and Amy "go to!"

Ingredients

POUND salmon fillet
Dill
Cilantro
Rosemary
Sliced garlic

bundle asparagus
Directions
1.
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
2.
Sear skin for three to five minutes on stovetop in skillet, sear in 2 tbsp olive oil on high heat. Transfer salmon to pan.
3.
Season with drizzle of olive oil, lots of dill and cilantro, sprinkle chopped garlic on top and on sides. Add salt and pepper.
4.
Put pan on bottom of oven. Roast for 20 minutes.
5.
Add the asparagus on top pan or around salmon in same pan if room. Add Olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, red pepper flakes.
6.
Bake together, Flip every few min for even cooking
