Aunty Bobby's Versouvious Dessert

Its called versouvious because it always used to erupt over the side of the dish,after a while I just used a bigger dish. Its all your cousins favourite desert hope you enjoy it. Love Aunty Bobby xx

Ingredients

ozs flour
5
ozs marg
3
ozs castor sugar
cinnamon
1 1/2
lb baking apples
jam (raspberry or strawberry
1
egg
Directions
1.
Grease dish well
2.
Peel & core apples, slice and leave in bowl
3.
Put all other ingredients in food processor, whiz until crumb like consistency
4.
Spread half mixture in greased dish
5.
Cover with apples, sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar mixed with cinnamon over apples then

2 - 3 dessert spoons of jam (I used raspberry but any will do) on top of apples
7.
Then cover whole with the rest of the mixture
8.
Cook approx 30 - 40 mins on 160 until cooked
9.
Very often I make the above mixture for the bottom then same again for the top and I put a lot more apples on and usually use a lot more jam.Sometimes I make it as crumbs and sometimes its more of a cake consistency as I put more marg in. Whatever you do have a fiddle about and enjoy it.
