Best Ever Buttercream Recipe (Icing For Cupcakes)

It is essential to mix this as much as possible for a light fluffy icing, As well as this make sure the butter is really really soft! preferably left out of the fridge over night.

gr unsalted butter (one pack

tsp vanilla extract (never essence
Directions
1.
Beat the butter till pale

add the icing sugar a third at a time, on a slow power to start, followed by a medium power.
3.
After all the icing is combined, add then the vanilla and beat till fluffy – it always takes a bit longer than you think – about 5 mins. Beware, icing sugar dust will go everywhere, there’s no way round that, trust us!
4.
At the very end, add your colouring…make sure you keep mixing until there’s an even colour throughout.
