Orange Rolls

Ingredients

cups hot water

cup sugar

tbsp yeast

stick butter, melted

eggs

tsp baking powder

cups bread flour

cups all-purpose flour

tbsp butter

orange zest
cinnamon sugar
glaze

cups powdered sugar
1/4
tsp vanilla
1
tsp milk
2
tbsp melted butter
1/4
tsp orange zest
juice from 1 orange
Directions

Dough:

Place 2 cups f hot water, 1/3 cup of sugar, and 1 tablespoon of yeast, along with one stick of melted butter in a mixing bowl. Let it sit for a while then add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon baking powder and 3 cups of bread flour. Mix together and then add 1 1/2 teaspoons salt and 2-3 cups of all purpose flour, mix and add more flour as needed to make a soft dough. Let the machine knead it for 4 minutes. Cover top of dough with butter then cover with a towel and let it double in bilk, punch down and let it raise again. Divide dough into two balls and roll into a circle. Mix the 2 tablespoons of melted butter and the zest of an orange. Spread across the circle. Then sprinkle with a mix of cinnamon and sugar. Cut in triangles, and put on buttered cookie sheet. Let it raise around 20-30 minutes and then bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes or golden brown. Cool slightly then frost with Orange Glaze

Orange Glaze:

mix all the ingredients in a bowl and add the orange juice to make a spreadable frosting. (usually a little runny)
