Italian Pasta Sauce With Hot Sausage

Ingredients
2
can Contadina Sauce (Italian Herbs has 15oz cans)
2
can Contadina Tomato Paste (Italian Herbs 6oz cans)
1
can Contadina Puree (Italian Herbs 15oz can)
1
small onion
2
garlic cloves, diced
2-3
links of hot Italian sausage
Salt, Pepper, Oregano to taste
1
tsp sugar
Directions
1.
Stir fry onion in olive oil.
2.
Add garlic and simmer.
3.
Add sauce, tomato paste, and puree and stir well.
4.
Add salt, pepper, oregano, and 1 tsp sugar.
5.
Cook over low heat for 1 hour or more. If sauce bubbles, add some water.
6.
While sauce is cooking, bake sausage links in covered pan for 45 minutes at 400 degrees, turning off after 30 minutes.
7.
Cut up cooked sausage into pieces and add to sauce.
8.
Continue to cook "until you get hungry!"
