A&W Cupcakes

Root beer cupcakes. Yummy!

Ingredients

cup butter, softened
1
cup sugar
3/4
tsp root beer extract
1
tbsp baking powder
2/3
cup rootbeer
2
eggs
2
cups flour
1
tsp salt
Directions
1.
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. In medium bowl, cream margarine with sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and rootbeer extract.

3. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the egg mixture. Beat in the rootbeer and mix until just combined.

4. Spoon batter into cupcake pan. For mini cupcakes, bake for 12-13 minutes. For regular cupcakes, bake for 15-16 minutes.

5. Remove from oven and cool before icing. Garnish with rootbeer icing and a small straw. (You can also add a rootbeer barrel for looks)
