Crack Salad (Broccoli & Bacon)

This is my family's favorite recipe ... ever! It is sweet, salty, crunchy, creamy and nutty, what more could you want? Totally addictive!

Ingredients
1
head broccoli, cut in small pieces
1
large red onion, diced in small pieces
1
cup salted sunflower seeds
1
cup of real bacon bits
1
cup dried cranberries or golden raisins
1 1/2
cups of shredded cheddar cheese
for sauce
2
& 1/2 cups of mayo, not miracle whip
1/2
cup vinegar (any flavor
1/3
cup of sugar (Splenda or Stevia for low carb
2
tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1.
Add all ingredients to large bowl.
2.
In another medium bowl, combine mayo, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
3.
Whisk with wire whisk until completely blended and smooth and creamy. Pour over the broccoli mixture and mix well. Refrigerate until ready to serve. This only gets better as time goes on so the next day it will be even better!
