Amazing Black Pepper Chicken

If you like the Black Pepper Chicken they have at Asian buffets, you are going to love this recipe! This is just like the real deal and I just can't get enough of it!

Ingredients
2
lb boneless skinless chicken breast (or thighs

tbsp cornstarch (for dusting
2
white onion, diced
2
cups frozen peas and carrot
2
to taste oil (for frying
can also substitute mandarin orange segments and salted cashews
sauce
1/2
cup oyster sauce
2
soy sauce
2
black pepper
1
tsp white pepper
2
sake or 2 teaspoons rice wine
Directions
1.
Mix together all of the sauce ingredients and set aside.
2.
Cut chicken into 1/2" cubes and dust pieces with cornstarch.
3.
Dry fry chicken in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
4.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in pan and stir fry onion for a few minutes, then add the peas and carrots and stir fry for another few minutes.
5.
Add sauce mixture to the veggies and heat until warm, then add the chicken and fully coat with the sauce.
