Oatmeal Cinnamon Drops

Our Administrator Kristi's mom's recipe! Great comfort food!

Ingredients

cup (2 stick) margarine
2
cups granulated sugar

tsp vanilla
2
eggs
1
tbsp molasses
2
cups flour
2
tsp cinnamon
1 1/2
tsp baking soda
1/2
tsp salt
2
cups Quick Oatmeal
1
cup raisins
1
cup chopped walnuts
1
cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream margarine and sugar together. Add vanilla, eggs, and molasses; beat well. In separate bowl, combine flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Add to creamed mixture and blend well. Stir oatmeal, raisins, walnuts, and chocolate chips in by hand.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets (or use parchment paper). Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool. Makes 6 dozen.
