Fruit & Herb Compound Butters

Scones, dinner rolls and even meat and chicken are so decadent when you use these compound butters. It is just another dimension to the whole eating experience!

Ingredients
smoky tomato butter
1/3
cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2
tsp tomato paste
1/4
tsp smoked paprika
sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
meyer lemon-dill butter
1/3
cup unsalted butter, softened
1
tsp Meyer lemon zest
1
tsp Meyer lemon juice
1/2
tsp finely chopped fresh dill
sea salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
spiced chai butter
1/3
cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2
tsp golden brown sugar
1/8
tsp each: ground cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger
Directions

For all three recipes:

Be sure the butter is at room temperature and is very soft.
3.
Add the softened butter to a small bowl and add the remaining ingredients.
4.
Use a small spoon to mix until it's completely smooth.
5.
With the exception of the Spiced Chai recipe, season to taste with salt and pepper.
