French Fries

French fried potatoes

Ingredients
1 1/2
lb low-starch potatoes or sweet potatoes
oil for frying
salt
Directions
1.
Scrub potatoes and cut into fries of desired size.
2.
Place fries into enough cold oil to cover the potatoes.
3.
Turn on heat to medium high. Do not disturb the fries as they heat up. Once they begin to brown, gently nudge them away from the bottom of the pan. Continue frying until they are a golden brown.
4.
Drain on cloth and salt to taste.
