Pinto Beans

Beans are an excellent source of protein and can be eaten alone or as a side dish. They are super cheap too for the starving student. They can be stored in the refrigerator for a few days or put into a Ziploc Bag and put in the freezer for later.

Ingredients
Pinto Beans
Garlic
Salt
Directions
1.
Soak your beans in a bowl with water overnight or before you go to class.
2.
Then simply rinse and place in a pot on the stove with fresh garlic and boil until soft.
3.
Use enough water to entirely cover the beans and add more while cooking if needed.
4.
When beans are done you can either eat them as is or put into a bowl and use a handheld potato masher and mash them.
