Captain Jack's Turkey Club Quiche

When my kids were young, we used to have this dish on special occasions. At Easter time the kids really thought they were getting something special. This dish doesn't cost a fortune to make either.

Ingredients
1 1/2
cups of cooked and diced turkey
1
cup of real bacon bits
1
cup Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced and 2 Roma tomatoes sliced to top the quiche
1/2
cup shredded cheddar cheese
1
cup of heavy cream
1
cup of shredded Swiss cheese
5
eggs
1
tsp minced garlic
1/2
cup Parmesan cheese
coarse salt and cracked black pepper to taste
fresh sweet basil leaves or 1 tsp dried basil
10
inch pie plate sprayed with non stick spray
Directions
1.
Spray the pie plate with the non stick spray.

To the pie plate add; turkey bacon, diced tomatoes and cheddar cheese. Spread out evenly. Sprinkle or dot with sweet basil, fresh or dried.

Then in bowl, combine the cream, milk, eggs, salt, pepper and garlic. Beat until smooth. Add Swiss cheese and mix well. Pour over turkey mixture. Top with Parmesan cheese and tomato slices.

Bake 375 degree oven for 45-60 minutes, or until center is set. Cool ten minutes before slicing.

*** Garnish with a fresh flower bud for an awesome presentation.
6.
*** If you want to get fancy, you can drizzle some hollandaise sauce over the top of plated quiche.
