St. Louis style BBQ Ribs

Prep
Cook
Serves 2people
Ingredients
1
Rack of St. Louis style Ribs
1
bottle of Open Pit BBQ Sauce
1/2
cup brown sugar
Directions
1.
Cut the ribs into sections of 2-3 ribs to make them easier to handle.
2.
Put the ribs in a large pot and fill with water.
3.
Turn the stove to high and start a timer for 1 hour.
4.
Stir the ribs occasionally as they boil to keep the ones on the bottom from burning.
5.
Transfer ribs to brown paper bag (or newspaper) lined counter and let dry for 1 hour.
6.
Place ribs in doubled trash bag.
7.
Pour in bottle of Open Pit and add the brown sugar.
8.
Get as much air out of the bag and tie it off as close to the ribs as possible.
9.
Turn the bag over and over on the counter to coat the ribs in sauce/sugar
10.
Place ribs in the fridge overnight.
11.
Remove ribs from fridge about 1 hour before you plan to cook them to bring to room temperature.
12.
Cook on the grill low and slow, basting in sauce as you go - avoid direct heat. You want to caramelize the sugar in sauce, but you don't need to worry about bringing the ribs to temperature since - they're already cooked!
13.
Enjoy
