Pumpkin Pie

Handed down from my grandmother. Although I'm pretty sure she found this on the back of a Carnation can. Love, Kimberly

Ingredients
3/4
granulated sugar
1/2
tsp salt
1 1/2
tsp cinnamon
1/2
tsp nutmeg
1/2
tsp ginger (I do't add this)
9
inch single pie shell
2
eggs
1 1/2
cups canned pumpkin (Libby's)
1 2/3
cups evaporated milk (Carnation's)
Directions
1.
Preheat Oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
2.
Grease pie pan, and place unbaked pie shell in the pan.
3.
Mix filling ingredients until smooth in a bowl. Pour mixed ingredients into the pie shell.
4.
Bake pie at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes. Then lower temperature to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and continue to bake for about 35 minutes or until custard is firm.
