English Muffin Bread

Great toasted and served warm. Freezes well.

Ingredients
5
cups flour
2
active dry yeast
1
tbsp sugar
1/4
tsp baking soda
2
salt
2
cups warm skim milk
1/2
cup water
Directions
1.
In large bowl, combine 2 c. flour, yeast, salt, sugar and baking soda.
2.
Add warm milk and water.
3.
Beat on HIGH for 3 minutes.
4.
Stir in remaining flour, batter will be stiff.
5.
Coat 2- 8 x 4 x 2 loaf pans with cooking spray.
6.
Spoon batter into pans, cover and let rise till doubl- about 45 minutes.
7.
Bake at 375 for 35 minutes or until golden brown.
8.
Remove immediately and cool on wire racks.
