Ingredients
SOUP:

lb boneless skinless chicken breasts

cups chicken broth
1 1/2
cups sliced carrots

cup sliced celery
1/2
cup diced white onion

tsp dried thyme
1/2
tsp dried rosemary

tsp pepper
DUMPLINGS:

tsp baking powder

tsp salt

cup cold butter
1
cup milk
parsley for garnish (optional)
Directions
1.
Add the soup ingredients to a 6-quart slow cooker, and stir. Cover and cook on HIGH for 8 hours without opening lid during cooking time. Shred the chicken with two forks and stir.

Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl. Cut the butter into as many small cubes as possible and toss into flour mixture. With the back of fork or a pastry cutter, break up the butter into the flour in smaller pieces.
3.
Add the milk. Combine everything together with clean hands until dough forms. Form the dough into balls (about the size of golf balls) and drop into the hot soup. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 hour without opening the lid during the cooking time. Garnish with parsley if desired. Serve and enjoy.
