Gingersnaps

Thin and crispy gingersnaps that are a treat all year round!

Ingredients
1
cup Butter, softened
1
cup Sugar
1
egg
1/2
cup Molasses
2
cups Flour
2
tsp Baking soda
1/2
tsp Salt
1
tsp Cinnamon
1
tbsp ginger
Directions
1.
Cream butter and sugar in stand mixer bowl. Add egg and beat until fluffy.
2.
Mix in molasses until well blended.
3.
In separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Slowly mix into wet ingredients.
4.
When all ingredients are incorporated, roll dough into 1" dia balls and roll into sugar to coat.
5.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min until thin and the tops have cracked.
