Easy Paleo Hamburger Pie

A meaty pie ( crust-free) that will keep you full and it tastes yummy too.

Ingredients
Meat Pie ingredients:
1
lb ground beef
1/2
cup tomato puree or sauce
2
tsp golden flax meal (can sub. with almond meal or cashew meal)
1/2
tsp Italian seasoning
1/2
tsp sea salt
1
tsp garlic powder
2
cloves garlic
1
egg beaten
Pie Topping:
2
eggs beaten
3
tp coconut milk or heavy cream
1/4
tsp sea salt
1/4
tsp black pepper
1/3-1/2
cups of grated cheese (optional)
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 400 Fand grease a 9 inch pan or dish.
2.
In a large frying pan on medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked.
3.
Pour off excess grease.
4.
In a large mixing bowl combine the browned ground beef and all the meat pie ingredients. Stir together thoroughly.
5.
Spoon the meat mixture into the prepared dish or pan and spread around evenly, set aside.
6.
In a medium bowl combine all the pie topping ingredients. Whisk and beat until combined.
7.
Bake for 28 to 31 Minutes or until top is browning and the center of pie is firm.
8.
Add the optional cheese on top.
9.
Cool for a few minutes and enjoy.
