Tsippi And Noam's Squish Squash

Ingredients

yellow squash (peel and slice into rounds or use frozen)

large onions, diced coarsely (microwave separately 5 minutes covered to soften)

tsp salt

cup rice (uncooked)

green pepper, diced coarsely
2
large tomatoes, diced coarsely
1
can (8 oz) mushrooms with liquid
1
can (8 oz) tomato sauce
2
tsp sugar
Directions
1.
Put all ingredients in covered pot and bring to boil.

Mix.
3.
Lower heat and cook 20-30 minutes until rice is cooked.
