Brown Sugar And Thyme Roasted Baby Carrots

The brown sugar melts and gets crispy on the carrots, which adds a great texture and crunch.

Ingredients

bunches Baby carrots, peeled and stems cut off
2
tbsp Canola oil
3-4
tbsp Dark Brown Sugar
5
Sprigs Fresh thyme
Directions
1.
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees

Place peeled and cleaned baby carrots in a large bowl and toss with oil, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
3.
Place carrots in a baking dish and bake in the oven for roughly 15 minutes or when carrots are still slightly crunchy but not raw.
4.
Add fresh thyme sprigs, and brown sugar to carrots, toss and place back in the oven for roughy another 7 minutes.
5.
Remove from oven and allow carrots to slightly cool, the sugar will make these extremely hot.
6.
Enjoy!
