Mozzarella Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Meatballs

gr 85% lean ground beef

gr minced onion

large cloves garlic

tbsp butter

gr chopped parsley

tbsp Worcestershire sauce

tsp balsamic/roasted onion veggie roaster spice (Urban Accents)

tsp black pepper

cubes mozzarella (10 grams each)
12
slices bacon
Sauce (makes about 1 cup) 8, 2T servings
remaining bacon fat after cooking meatballs

tsp beef gelatin
1/2
cup heavy whipping cream
salt to taste
Directions
1.
Saute diced onion and garlic in butter and allow to cool.
2.
Mix ground beef, chopped parsley, Worcestershire, spices and garlic-onion mixture.
3.
Form into 12 balls (approx. 70 grams each)
4.
Flatten and place cube mozzarella in the center, forming beef mixture around cheese cube.
5.
Wrap ball in bacon slice.
6.
Grill until done or cook in a saucepan.
7.
If cooked in a saucepan, whisk beef gelatin into leftover bacon and beef fat and slowly add heavy whipping cream to make the sauce.
