Champagne Punch

This is my go-to recipe for a wonderful punch for showers or a buffet any time of year, I always served it at our Christmas Party and everyone loved it, even those who normally don't like a punch. It is a wonderful holiday party recipe served alongside homemade Eggnog. Be careful, always stop serving well before the end of the party and go to desserts and high octane coffee as this punch packs a punch. It serves nicely 30 people with one recipe, of 75 cups.

Ingredients

Bottles of medium priced Champagne
3
bottles of club soda
3
bottles of Sauterne wine (don't subsitute)

cup of Brandy
1
cup of Curacao or Triple Sec
Directions
1.
Mix all the ingredients together in a very large punch bowl and add an ice ring. To make the ice ring, use distilled water and pour the water into a jello ring mold only going 1/2 of the way up. Add some berries, freeze for 2 hours, then fill to the top with distilled water and freeze overnight. Unmold it and float it in your punch before serving. Keep all your bottles of liquor cold, so the punch starts out cold.
