Garlic Herb Roasted Shrimp

Best way to eat shrimp

Serves 4people
Ingredients
2
lb of shrimp, peeled and devined
3-4
garlic cloves minced (I use minced garlic from a jar)
2
tbsp of olive oil (I use spicy garlic olive oil)
1/2
tsp red pepper flakes
1
tsp of dried basil
pinch of salt
pinch of pepper
Homemade cocktail sauce:
1/2
cup of ketchup
2
heaping tablespoons of horseradish
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2.
In a large bowl, toss shrimp, garlic, red pepper flakes, basil, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Toss until all coated.
3.
Spread shrimp out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
4.
Bake for 8 - 10 minutes.
5.
While the shrimp are cooking, in a small bowl mix the ketchup and horseradish. Set aside.
6.
Remove shrimp from the oven, let cool for 2 minutes (but if you are like me I cant help but to start eating them straight out of the oven).
7.
Serve with homemade cocktail sauce.
8.
Optional: Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
