Chicken Fajitas Soup

Little bit of Mexican flare in this yummy soup

Ingredients

lb chicken breast fillets
1
package dry fajitas seasoning mix
1/2
package chef's seasoning
1/2
stick butter/margerine
4
tbsp flour
1
can (4 oz) green chillies (chop up
1
can (14 1/2 oz) of chicken broth
1
can cream of chicken soup
2
cups milk
12
-ozs of monterey jack cheese
Directions
1.
Cut fillets into bite size pieces and marinate in seasoning mix following package directions for 15 minutes.
2.
Melt butter in large saucepan.
3.
Add chef's seasoning and cook over medium heat for approximetely 7 minutes or until softened.
4.
Add marinated chicken, stirring constantly until chicken is cooked.
5.
Add flour and green chilies
6.
*note: A wire wisk is the best utensil to use for stirring*
7.
Pour in chicken breast, cream of chicken soup, and milk.
8.
After it has all blended and cooked for a couple of minutes, add grated cheese.
9.
When cheese is melted, soup is ready.
10.
*The amount of milk and cheese can vary according to thickness desired.*
