11th Hole: Mom's Meatloaf

This is the from the first cookbook Mrs. Warren bought in college.

Ingredients
1/2
lb ground beef
1/4
lb lean pork - or just 3/4 pounds hamburger
1
cup Quaker Oats - some torn white bread
2/3
cup milk
1
egg beaten
1/4
tsp onion salt
1/8
tsp garlic salt
1/8
tsp pepper
1/8
tsp dry mustard
1/8
tsp celery salt
2
tsp Worcestershire sauce
ketchup
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 350.
2.
Mix ingredients and shape into loaf in shallow baking pan. (You can put some carrots underneath to lift out of grease.)
3.
Spread ketchup (or barbecue sauce) over top.
4.
For sides: Put onions and potatoes around the meatloaf and sprinkle with olive oil and salt.
5.
Bake 1 hour.
6.
To split into two meals: Prepare half the recipe as indicated above. Cook the other half for 30 minutes and freeze. Cook for an additional 30 minutes after defrosting to have a 2nd meal.
