Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake

Ingredients

tbsp Unsalted Butter, room temperature

tbsp Shortening
1/4
cup light brown sugar
3
tbsp granulated sugar
1
Large Egg Yolk
3/4
tsp Vanilla
1/8
tsp fine Salt
1/2
cup + 2 tbsp Flour
1/4
tsp Instant Espresso Powder
1/4
tsp Baking Soda
1/4
tsp Baking Powder
1/3
cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Directions
1.
Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 6" pie plate.
2.
In a medium bowl, cream butter, shortening, brown sugar, and granulated sugar together. Beat very well, about 45 seconds. Add egg yolks and vanilla and beat until combined.
3.
In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining ingredients (except chocolate chips) add it in 2 batches, beating it just to combine.
4.
Stir in chocolate chips. Press dough into the pie plate evenly and flat.
5.
Bake for 30-33 minutes or until the middle is slightly under done.
6.
Let cool, but serve warm.
